You can use REST API requests to retrieve, create and update attribute objects through the Modeling service:

• Retrieve an attribute's definition
• Retrieve an attribute's definition within a changeset
• Create an attribute object
• Update an attribute's definition
• Get attribute's applicable advanced properties Available since 2021 Update 9
• Get attribute's definition and advanced properties Available since 2021 Update 9
• Update attribute's advanced property Available since 2021 Update 9
